At Ulamo Coating, you can choose between powder coating and wet coating. Our wet coating room has a suspended rail system, so our wet coat sprayers can wet-coat several materials consecutively. This suspension system also makes it possible to wet-coat heavier products.
What is wet coating?
Just like powder coating, wet coating is an operation that beautifies your product while protecting it against corrosion. A thin coat of paint is applied in each desired colour (RAL). The spraying of the paint layer is done manually. After the wet coating, the product must be given enough time to cure.
Wet coating for the gas meter industry
Over the years, we’ve built up a stable customer base of manufacturers in the gas meter industry. Their gas meters are wet-coated at Ulamo Coating. The wet coating is performed in a special spray booth under controlled conditions.
